Unsung Hero or Good Neighbour

This is for informal volunteers and good neighbours who go above and beyond to make a real difference in the lives of those around them, reminding us of the breadth of what it means to volunteer. Volunteering for your community goes beyond signing up to shifts and helping recognised charities and community groups. Sometimes the biggest impact is someone taking the time to notice the little things they can do for those around them, that add up to something bigger – someone feeling seen, cared for and included.  

Whether these wonderful people pick up shopping for the elderly, cut grass for those with mobility issues or call on neighbours who would otherwise feel isolated, we want to let them know how valued they are.
