RVS Training opportunities

Please note: If you wish to attend any of the RVS training courses, you

will need to complete either a booking form or an online booking.

Our Membership Team have been contacting member organisations to ask how we can support you to get back to being operational. We have also been contacted by some of you, to ask about first aid training. In response, we have teamed up with MCG Training to deliver certified First Aid at Work Training to offer the following training programmes.

 

First Aid at Work 3-day course Qualification: Senior First Aider at Work

Date: 4, 6 and 8 October

Time: 9.30 – 16.30

Venue: Civic Offices, Farnborough Road, GU14 7JU

Cost: RVS members £140 per delegate, Non-members £160 per delegate

18-hour First Aid At Work (FAW) – Specification

‘MiDAS Training’ (Mini-Bus Driver Awareness Scheme)

Accessible training enables the driver to use the tail lift and take wheelchair passengers.

Drivers who do not need to use the tail lift and/or carry wheelchairs will only attend the non-accessible (the first) part of the course.

The training will include a driving assessment, this will be on a date and time arranged by the trainer.

There are two levels of training provided:

Initial/ Full Training

Refresher Courses

For the refresher candidates must have attended a full course and also need their MIDAS renewed.
