Rushmoor Connect and Fleet Connect

(formerly known as Dial-a-ride and Fleet Link)

We operate two local door-to-door bus services using buses which have been specially adapted with handrails, low steps and wheelchair lifts. You can book for either Rushmoor and Fleet Connect, if:

  • You have a sensory or mobility impairment or find it difficult to use public bus services.
  • Your nearest bus stop is too far away or there is no bus service when you need to travel
  • You do not have access to a car

It is not necessary to be registered as disabled. You might, for instance, have difficulty walking to the bus stop either temporarily or due to a longer-term issue. We can accommodate wheelchairs and scooters too.  We are unable to take passengers in powered wheelchairs on the tail lift.

Our team of drivers are experienced, professional and friendly. They are happy to assist you to the bus and back to your door, if needed.

It is necessary to register before using either service.

You can book for both services up to 6 days in advance. For pre-planned medical appointments, you can book up to 2 weeks in advance. Bookings line is open Monday – Friday 9.30am-12.30pm. 01252 398451

If you need to be accompanied by an essential escort, they will travel free of charge.  Please indicate this on your registration form.

If you cannot transfer from your wheelchair whilst travelling, we will need to ensure your wheelchair is suitable and tested for this.  Please indicate this on your registration form.
