Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme (MiDAS)

Rushmoor Voluntary Services is a MiDAS provider for North Hampshire.  MiDAS is the gold standard for enhancing the safety and care of passengers. 

Working in partnership with the Community Transport Association we are here to facilitate your on-line learning and the practical driving assessment.

Both the Standard & Accessible courses are a combination of on-line theory and practical skills assessments.  The “Accessible” course is available for those needing to drive accessible vehicles and operate the tail lift/secure wheelchairs.  The on-line theory is done in your own time but must be completed before the practical assessment.  The assessment takes between 1 & 2 hours and is undertaken here at our office in Farnborough.

COSTS

• Standard assessment is £125.00 for RVS members/£130.00 for Non-members + £40.00 for the on-line learning pass
• Accessible assessment is £150.00 for RVS member/£175.00 for Non-members + £40.00 for the on-line learning pass

Note, that a MiDAS qualification is essential to drive an RVS minibus.
