Did you know: 

• Over 50% of the UK population volunteered at some point in the past year! 

• 16.3 million people volunteered through a group, club or organisation.

During challenging times, we are grateful to good neighbours, volunteers, charity and voluntary groups for their dedication and support. We also find ways of celebrating community life through the events and activities voluntary groups organise. This is so needed to bring some light when life gets tough. We are proud to be part of the Rushmoor community who have stepped up to the plate during the pandemic and now the cost-of-living crisis.  

This year’s Rushmoor Volunteer Recognition Awards welcome nominations from groups and individuals. You are warmly invited to nominate a good neighbour, volunteer or voluntary group that you would like to be recognised for their service to the people of Rushmoor.  

Whether you are a sports group, Rushmoor resident, cultural, faith or uniformed organisation, social enterprise, charity or community group we invite you to make a nomination. All those nominated will receive a certificate of recognition. There will be a celebration event in June, for which nominees will have an opportunity to apply for tickets.
