A Day of Community Networking!

21st September – make a day of it, or dip and out of any of the four events.
- 10-11 am: The Rushmoor Voluntary Services AGM – join us for the review of an active and challenging year.
- 11.10am-12 noon: Voluntary Sector Forum – The theme is ‘Representation of the Voluntary Sector’. A chance to discuss and share your views.
- 12 noon-1 pm: Networking Lunch – renew and make contact with other voluntary sector member organisations over a sandwich and cuppa!
- 1-2.30pm: The Launch of the Together for our Planet project
You can join us via Teams or in person at the Rushmoor Council Offices for any of these events. With lunch provided from 12 to 1p.m. why not make a day of it?
The focus of the Forum meeting is ‘Representation of the Voluntary Sector”. As the Council for Voluntary Service for Rushmoor, we are often expected to represent the voluntary sector as a whole. We want to create opportunities for our members to represent the voluntary sector in more specialised fields, to give us all a stronger voice. How do we do that? Together for our Planet is for all Hampshire VCSE organisations to come together and support each other to make steps towards a greener world. This could be reducing your organisation’s energy consumption, exploring the world of reuse and recycling, increasing local biodiversity or raising awareness in your local community. We can all take small steps where we are, that add up to a big difference – let’s come Together for our Planet!

Together for our planet is a project delivered by the Community Infrastructure Partnership, a collaboration between seven Councils for Voluntary Service in Hampshire. This project is generously funded through the National Lottery’s Together for our Planet scheme.
Online launch event: Wednesday 21st September 1pm to 2.30pm
An opportunity to hear from other voluntary organisations who are on the greening journey. Be inspired, get ideas, and meet other organisations to see how we could all help green the Hampshire VCSE sector! You’ll hear about resources to help you delve deeper and about how you can get support to make positive changes for the planet where you are.
