Applications Open for 2026

The Frank Rust Memorial Schools Garden Grant is funded and administered by Rushmoor Voluntary Services, in memory of Councillor Frank Rust — a dedicated RVS Trustee, Trustee of Church Road Allotments, and passionate advocate for Rushmoor in Bloom.

This special initiative offers schools in Rushmoor the opportunity to apply for funding to create or develop school gardens that inspire young people to enjoy gardening, connect with nature, and grow their own produce.

We’re supporting projects that:

• Encourage pupils to enjoy and learn outdoors
• Create spaces for growing fruit, vegetables, and plants
• Promote understanding of how food is grown, cooked, and shared
• Foster teamwork, creativity, and environmental awareness
