Disability and Accessibility

The Disability and Accessibility category celebrates volunteers who tirelessly advocate for inclusion, dignity, and equal access for all members of our community. These champions break down barriers—whether physical, social, or attitudinal—to create a more welcoming and supportive Rushmoor for people of all abilities. 

From dedicated volunteers in disability support groups, community centres, health services, and local charities, to those who champion accessible spaces, events, and opportunities, their passion and commitment empower individuals to live fuller, more independent lives. They ensure everyone’s voice is heard and valued, fostering a community where diversity is celebrated and everyone can thrive.
