Good Luck to Rushmoor Community in Bloom 2024 Entrants

Gardeners across Rushmoor have entered Rushmoor Community in Bloom, showcasing wonderful gardens that celebrate our green spaces, both at home and in our community. The competition hopes to encourage a greener, more environmentally friendly approach to gardening, creating habitats for wildlife and promoting sustainable gardening practices.

In July, community gardens, wildlife gardens, front gardens, hanging baskets, unusual planted containers and school gardens were judged.  The scores are in and those shortlisted for awards will be invited to the Awards Evening in September.

The evening is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of all participants and to announce our winners. We are hugely grateful to specific local businesses who are sponsoring aspects of this year’s event. Fath Components Ltd, our Event Sponsor, The Holiday Inn Farnborough, our venue Sponsor and our category Sponsors who are, Squires Garden Centres, Wellesley Homes, KEBUR Ltd and Farnborough Airport and Rushmoor Rotary Club who have sponsored our school’s competition. The competition is also funded by Rushmoor Borough Council, to support RVS whilst we establish this positive community project.
