Home Help

Our Home Help services makes a difference to local residents by providing some support in their home, allowing them to remain independent.  Our service is suitable for older and/or disabled people.

Your Home Help can help with cleaning/housework/laundry and shopping.

The Home Help service is operated on a ‘not-for-profit’ basis by Rushmoor Voluntary Services.

Cost is £19.40 per hour, with subsequent hour/part hour charged at £18.90 per hour (pro rata if applicable).

All staff are DBS checked and appropriately trained.

What do we do?

• Essential Housework, including hoovering, ironing, laundry and day to day cleaning.
• Shopping

Tasks we do not carry out

• Personal Care
• Administering or support with medication
• Cleaning ovens and other domestic appliances
• ‘Deep Cleans/Spring Cleans’
• ‘Hoarding clearance’

Which areas are covered?

• Aldershot
• Farnborough
• Hart District

How does the service work?

The service can be requested for prospective clients by:

• Adult Services
• GP’s
• District Nurses
• Managers of Sheltered Housing Schemes
• Family and self referrals accepted
• Other Health Care Professionals
