Rushmoor Dial-a-Ride and Fleet Link

Rushmoor Dial-a-Ride and Fleet Link

From 19th July, social distancing ended in England.  However, the Government expects and recommends that people wear face coverings in crowded areas such as public transport.

We will continue to have reduced numbers on the buses and encourage passengers to use the sanitising hand gel available as they enter and leave the bus.

We will continue with enhanced cleaning processes and have windows open.

We operate two local door-to-door bus services using buses which have been specially adapted with handrails, low steps and wheelchair lifts. These are ideal for anyone who finds it difficult to use the ordinary bus service.

The service is available to anyone who has a mobility or sensory impairment which means that they are unable to, or experience difficulty or discomfort in, using bus services.

It is not necessary to be registered as disabled. You might, for instance, have difficulty walking to the bus stop either temporarily or due to a longer-term issue. We can accommodate wheelchairs and scooters too.

Our team of drivers are very experienced, very professional and very friendly. They are happy to assist you to the bus and back to your door, if needed.

It is necessary to register before using either service.

Please call 01252 398451 if you have any questions.

What Does it Cost?

The costs vary according to the destination.  We charge £3.20 for a return journey within your area, e.g Rushmoor and Fleet, and and slightly higher for The Meadows and the other destinations outside of the area.

Concessionary Bus Pass holders travel for a reduced price after 09:30 am. Due to the door-to-door nature of the service fares may be slightly more than a standard bus but are much cheaper than a taxi.

If you have an essential escort (e.g. to push your wheelchair) they may travel free. You will need to state this requirement on your registration form and explain why the escort is necessary.
