Dial A Ride

Rushmoor Dial-a-Ride and Fleet Link

Door – to – Door Bus Services for the vulnerable or frail residents.

If you are registered for the service and want to book a ride on either bus service,  “Dial-a-Ride” or Fleet Link, call:

01252 518090

We operate two local door-to-door bus services using buses specially adapted with handrails, low steps and wheelchair lifts, for anyone who finds it difficult/impossible to use the ordinary bus service.

You don’t have to be registered disabled, you might, for instance, have difficulty walking to the bus stop.

You will need to register for either service.

Dial A Ride

For People living in the Aldershot and Farnborough area: Rushmoor Dial a Ride Leaflet

Where can I go?

All journeys must be pre-booked but then you can go anywhere within the Rushmoor area. On certain days the buses go to places outside the normal area, e.g. The Meadows Shopping Centre in Camberley.

We regret that we cannot take you to hospital/doctor appointments or day centres

Complete the  Dial a Ride Registration Form  and return it to our office. Once you have been notified that you are registered, you can call the booking number to make a booking. The call centre staff will do their best to give you the pick-up time you request, although this is not always possible.

What does it cost?

The costs vary according to which service is used and the destination.

Concessionary Bus Pass holders travel for half price after 09:30 am. Due to the door-to-door nature of the service fares may be slightly more than a standard bus but cheaper than a taxi.

If you have an essential escort (e.g. to push your wheelchair) they may travel free. You will need to state this requirement on your registration form and explain why the escort is necessary.
