Befriending and Buddying Service Recruitement

Are you interested in becoming a volunteer Befriender?

Do you enjoy a chat over a cuppa? And do you have an hour to spare a week?

We are looking for people to join our friendly team of volunteer Befrienders to help support members of the Rushmoor Community who find themselves lonely and isolated.

Befriending can either be face to face or via the phone.

As a Befriender you will be helping to improve the quality of life for those who find themselves socially isolated within their homes. Our Social Inclusion Officer will match and introduce you to the person who you will visit on a weekly bases for an hour at a time that suits you and the person who you will be befriending.

This is a very rewarding role that brings friendship, company and a chance to chat to a friendly person.
