Who are we?
The Volunteer Centre in Rushmoor supports anyone interested in volunteering or any oganisation that uses volunteers. We are an accredited volunteer development agency with Volunteering England covering Aldershot , Farnborough, Cove, North Camp and surrounding areas.
Ours is an entirely free, impartial service and we welcome everyone.
What do we do?
The Volunteer Centre is here to give encouragement, information, advice and support to anyone interested in volunteering.
We work to identify the best volunteering opportunities for each individual from an extensive list of over 250 opportunities with at least 200 organisations. We’ll look at your interests and experience, check your availability and discuss your options. There’s no pressure and we’ll help you make an informed choice.
If you feel you may need additional support to take that first step into volunteering we also offer a Supported Volunteering scheme and a highly successful Gardening Project.
We also work to support voluntary and community groups in and around the Borough of Rushmoor in recruiting volunteers and developing their organisations in line with best practice. This includes a comprehensive training programme.
