Our role in the community is to help and support any voluntary or community group working in and round the borough of Rushmoor.
We offer a host of services which include the following:-

Garrison Special Needs Christmas Party Sunday 30/11/08 |
The Aldershot Garrison Special Needs Group is holding its annual Christmas party for around 400 disabled children, young adults and their families. They would welcome any offers of help from manning the parking, through providing refreshments and ensuring that everybody gets the most out of the afternoon. Venue: The QOGLR (10 Regt), New-Normandy Barracks, Evelyn-Woods Road, Aldershot 2.00pm to 5.45pm Help would also be welcome both before and after to prepare and clear up. The Art and Craft of Fundraising Wednesday 19th November & Wednesday 26th November from 9.30-12.30 |
This two part course aims to show organisations how to identify the funding sources most liely to fund their project together with advice and guidance on the craft of writing successful bids. The second session of the course provides the opportunity for participants to enquire further into their own organisations' needs and to review, with the tutor, bids which they have previously prepared. You will also have the opportunity to look at the on-line search facilities of "TrustfundingUK" and "IndividualfundingUK" in the UK's largest database of funding sources.
