Rushmoor Voluntary Services has four minibuses available for hire to member organisations which are:
- A Ford Transit 14 seater (including driver) - Tail-lift fitted
- Two Renault Masters (14 seater without wheelchairs or 7 seater with 2 wheelchairs including driver) - Tail-lift fitted.
The above minibuses are a vailable Monday-Sunday - £50 returnable deposit is required.
- A Ford Transit (16 seater without wheelchairs or 8 seater with 3 wheelchairs to include driver). Tail-lift fitted. This bus is available Monday, Wednesday and weekends.
It is a requirement that all drivers of RVS minibuses hold a current MIDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme) Certificate. Drivers must be over 25 years old and under 70 years old with a clean driving licence and at least 5 years driving experience. (If you are over 70 years you can still drive a minibus providing you have obtained a medical certificate and have requested a D1 to be retained on your Driving Licence.)
The cost of each bus is £1 per mile. This includes all running costs. (Minimum invoice £20)
WE MAY BE ABLE TO PROVIDE MIDAS DRIVERS FROM OUR POOL OF VOLUNTEERS BUT A CHARGE OF £10 FOR THIS SERVICE APPLIES.
