Our role in the community is to help and support any voluntary or community group working in and round the borough of Rushmoor.
We offer a host of services which include the following:-

Vulnerable Adult Awareness Training
MS Power Point & Presentation Skills Training | This course is structured to meet the needs of staff and volunteers working with vulnerable adults. It covers the definition of a vulnerable adult, what constitutes abuse, the context in which it can take place, risk factors and resilience, handling allegations and concerns and Hampshire's procedures for protecting Vulnerable Adults. Cost: £35 Date: Thursday 25/09/08 from 9.30am - 4.00pm ********* A specially designed, 2 morning course for those with a basic knowledge of PowerPoint to extend that knowledge to the next level. The basics are revised but included in the course are topics covering animation, slide transition, adding photos, music and video as well as the fundamentals of good slide construction. Time is also taken to look at the skills associated with delivering a good presentation using this valuable tool. (Please note due to cost issues we do not provide individual computers for this course but you are welcome to bring you own laptop).
